This was a cute place on a weird island with nice views of the city. It's a relaxed pace here. Would be good if you are a drinker because they have a lot of options. The fish and chips I had was very light and had great texture but the fish seemed under cooked to me. The chips that came with the order were hearty and I would have preferred to just have French fries.

Decided to surprise the gf with brunch and a view so we took the trip across the bridge and were pleasantly surprised. The place was wide open, family friendly with kids and pets around. The food was good, the service was excellent and the flow of nice, old cars in and out was an added bonus.

Me and the Local 6 crew come here every Friday to treat ourselves for the hard working week here on TI! We love the food ,view and employees that recognize us and always show love! The owner is always appreciative when she see's cause she knows we love coming here. See y'all next Friday....

Loved the ambience! Great view of the city. Great vibe. Good food! The band was great but a little loud even outdoors - made it difficult to have conversation easily. You order food and drinks at the bar - the line can be long. But all in all I'd say it's totally worth it!

Mersea was the perfect spot to take my friend visiting from out of town. I wanted to impress her while showing her around, and this place totally delivered! The views are amazing, seriously! you get the best of the Bay and the city skyline. It's got this chill, open-air vibe that feels both cozy and impressive at the same time. We tried the clam chowder and fish tacos, and wow, they were spot-on. Oh, and don't skip the fries, they're so good, we couldn't stop eating them. Order at the counter, staff was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a great spot to take visitors or just enjoy a good meal with a view, Mersea is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back for sure!

Service 5/5 Ambiance 6/5 Food 5/5 Fantastic restaurant that deserves all its flowers! This was my second time visiting. Every time the vibes, views, and food are perfect. Fish Sandwich - devoured it. The soft brioche bun with the crispy fish was a great balance. This was delicious Fish and chips - standard but everything you'd expect in the best way. Caesar Salad - LOVE the croutons. They're made fresh and not too crunchy! So good. Bloody Maria pitcher - great alcohol to mix ratio! Had me feeling right. We also happened to meet the owner, MeeSun, who was an absolute sweetheart and walked us through the entire menu. Great experience overall and I'd highly recommend!!!

Highly recommend. Probably one of the best panoramic views of SF from this restaurant. Food and service are great too.

Quite an innovative design concept, using old shipping containers for the interior, and various sizes and species of succulents for decor. Mersea has lots of parking (make sure to lock your doors and hide your valuables due to crime, as with most places on Treasure Island), and has absolutely gorgeous views from both the interior and exterior seating. It's great for large parties and even hosting special events like work gatherings or weddings. They've got a tiny mini golf area, and cornhole and other games for rent. I love that they've got live music when it's not raining too. Food is rather average. They're known more their drinks and cocktails, I think, but even their seafood offerings are mediocre for the price. The fish and chips was sadly particularly underwhelming. While fresh, the fish wasn't battered well and you don't get much of it, and the steak fries were dry and bland. The salad was overdressed, and the fish chowder wasn't tasty. Our favorite by far was the tuna ceviche; it's the only thing I'd order again. Overall, I'd come back, but mainly for the ambiance, not the food. Given it's on Treasure Island and will probably take about half an hour drive from anywhere in SF due to Bay Bridge traffic, it's a place you visit once for special events or just to try it, rather than as a regular occurrence.

On Treasure Island, within one mile from Panorama Park, great location with water front view of the Bay Bridge and the SF skyline. There's an indoor seating area with a cafe kind of setup and a large outdoor area with bocce ball court and live music performance at times. The outdoor area has a lot of succulents, very pretty. You order via the cashier upon entering the indoor area and then pick up your utensils and find a table to seat. A badger will be used to get food. The staff come to collect the used dishes after we are done. The menu is simple with the goal of the customers getting a drink and share some food and mainly enjoy the view and the together time. So one page drink menu and food is like pretzels, fish chowder, burger, fish and chips, taco, nothing fancy. The fish chowder came out creamy with 2 nicely toasted bread. Not bad. It's a good visit combined with the island visit. There are signs warning of parking lot thief and when we walked there we got passed a construction site and part of the walk was not accessible via the water front.

Lovely place to eat by the bay. Also live Music creates a lovely ambience, surrounded by succulents and sunshine. Not forgetting easy parking around the restaurant. I ordered my usual fish and chips freshly made with tartar sauce $18.99. Prices have gone up since I was last here. However, I just love the ambience with the beach vibes and music. Plenty of seating with bay view, inside or outside under the sun with the band playing aside. A great eatery to bring visitors whilst exploring treasure island.
